Biography

That was over 20 years ago — and since those fateful words were spoken, Candace Gipe quickly rose to one of the top five sales performers in the history of her Fortune 500 employer, selling solutions
worth hundreds ... to hundreds of thousands ... to hundreds of MILLIONS of dollars. She advanced into the ranks of management, holding every position from Territory Manager to International Sales Manager, instilling in her charges the value of a strong customer orientation and a mild self-interest. As a result, her teams went on to achieve record-breaking success.

Today, in her private training and consulting practice, Candace helps her clients develop skills for executing account strategies, ensuring client satisfaction, leveraging executive positioning, developing and presenting offers, sales management, recruiting and retention, solution sales, market share growth, erosion and employee satisfaction as well as in leadership development, change management and human asset recognition.

In developing customized training solutions for her clients, Candace calls upon her broad range of sales, sales management and leadership training experience, including everything from the most basic customer service skills training to the most advanced sales methods available in the marketplace today. Among her many instructor certifications and instructor experiences are Negotiating to Win®, Social Styles®, Steven Covey's Principle Centered Leadership® and the Solution Selling® methodology. A native of Toledo, Ohio, Candace has made Charlotte, NC home for herself, her husband and their two sons. First Five fees are available for the first five days booked in a given month, a minimum of 6 months in advance.
Short-Range fees are available to clients who make use of days remaining within a 45-day window.
Non-Profit fees are always available to qualified charitable organizations.
Charlotte fees are available for engagements within a 1-hour driving radius of the area.
Standard fees apply to all other engagements.
Participant Materials fees apply to all engagements.
Consulting Fee Schedule

As consultants, we sell our time. With our time comes all of the knowledge, skill and experience we’ve gained -- focused on whatever you need. Different clients have different needs – and different needs require different relationships. With that in mind, here are the guidelines:

A Standard Contract features a reducing rate as hours accumulate over the course of the entire relationship:

The initial 10 hours are paid in advance. Additional hours are billed as they are used, with a 2 hour minimum session. Terms are Net 10 Days. Travel expenses are the responsibility of the client.
A Retained Contract reserves an agreed upon number of hours to work on a client’s projects each month. The hourly rate is determined by the number of hours reserved for a given month:
10-24 hours $250/hr 25-50 hours $200/hr
All Retained Contracts begin on the 1st of the month. Minimum reservation is 10 hours per month -- maximum is 50. 2 hour minimum session. The retained rate only applies to the number of hours reserved. Retainers are paid in advance. Unused hours are forfeited. Hours in excess of those reserved are billable at the full Standard Contract rate in effect at the time the overage occurs. Overtime hours are billed separately – terms are Net 10 Days. Travel expenses are the responsibility of the client. One month written notice is required to cancel a retained relationship.
