| Biography |
Selling Newspaper
Subscriptions door to door for the Charleston, SC Post &
Courier Newspaper at 11 years old was Steve's first experience
in the
sales field. This led to purchasing and reselling soft drinks,
candy,
chips, and chewing gum to fellow middle school students in 8th
grade.
During college, he was a collegiate representative
for IBM marketing
personal computers to fellow college students. After college
and a few
years in an operations management position, Steve spent 12 years
as a full
time salesman in the very competitive telecommunications field.
He was
blessed to consistently rank as one of the top salesman in his
company and
despite many obstacles, never finished a year below 115% of
quota.
An experience with Stage 3 Malignant
Melanoma in August 2000, led Steve to
ask himself, "What do I want to leave as my legacy?" A
desire to serve
others and to help them become the best they can be was at the
top of the
list. Being blessed to make it past the 5 year anniversary of
this deadly
cancer in 2005, when the survival rate for this time period is
30%, has
further emboldened Steve to leave his world better than he found
it.
Steve is married with 1 son and lives in Waxhaw, NC.
Steve's civic involvement includes Ballantyne
Toastmasters, The Charlotte
Chamber of Commerce (Ambassador and Annual Campaign Volunteer),
Matthews
Executive Group, and The Charlotte Region Commercial Board of
Realtors.
A notable honor includes being named
to the Charlotte Business Journal's
40 under 40 listing in 2006. This is an annual award given to
40
Charlotte Area Business Leaders under 40 years old who have demonstrated
success in business, community, and civic involvement.
Steve was also privileged to be named
the 2005 Corporate Associate (Non
Realtor) Member of the Year for the Charlotte Commercial Board
of
Realtors. |

fees are available for the first five
days booked in a given month, a minimum of 6 months in advance. |
| Short-Range fees are available to clients who make
use of days remaining within a 45-day window. |

fees are always available to qualified

a 1-hour driving radius of the area. |
| Standard
fees apply to all other engagements. |

Fee Schedule |
As consultants, we sell our time. With our time
comes all of the knowledge, skill and experience we’ve
gained -- focused on whatever you need. Different clients have
different needs – and different needs require different
relationships. With that in mind, here are the guidelines:
A Standard Contract features a reducing rate
as hours accumulate over the course of the entire relationship: |

The initial 10 hours are paid in advance.
Additional hours are billed as they are used, with a 2 hour minimum
session. Terms are Net 10 Days. Travel expenses are the responsibility
of the client. |

A Retained Contract
reserves an agreed upon number of hours to work on a client’s
projects each month. The hourly rate is determined by the number
of hours reserved for a given month: |

All Retained Contracts
begin on the 1st of the month. Minimum reservation is 10 hours
per month -- maximum is 50. 2 hour minimum session. The retained
rate only applies to the number of hours reserved. Retainers
are paid in advance. Unused hours are forfeited. Hours in excess
of those reserved are billable at the full Standard Contract
rate in effect at the time the overage occurs. Overtime hours
are billed separately – terms are
Net 10 Days. Travel expenses are the responsibility of the client.
One month written notice is required to cancel a retained relationship. |
