Input from participants such as yourself is vital in our mission to understand the core issues of independent human development professionals across the four major disciplines of our industry. Results of the study are compiled and published monthly. All participants receive access to the study AFTER they have completed their BBVA so as not to skew their input.

The BBVA is designed and intended EXCLUSIVELY for privately-employed speakers, trainers, coaches and consultants who recognize they are building a BUSINESS and want that business to GROW. Even though it may be a "business of ONE," they take their enterprise SERIOUSLY. It is NOT for people who are looking for an outlet for artistic expression, novices, dabblers, hobbyists, part timers or wannabees — it IS for people who are pursuing a dedicated and focused career path in the human development industry.

Before beginning the BBVA, pay particular attention to the bulleted list of guidelines detailed below.

• The BBVA is not something to be approached casually or quickly. It requires the respondent to take their time... READ the instructions CAREFULLY and COMPLETELY... and honestly assess their business in each area surveyed. Each problem area needs to be given thorough and thoughtful consideration in order to derive the maximum benefit from the BBVA experience. • Make sure you fill out the contact information section completely and accurately. In order to have your BBVA Report prepared and returned to you, we need to know who you are and where to send it. All Information shared will be kept COMPLETELY and TOTALLY confidential. • It is imperative that you read the directions for the BBVA thoroughly before filling out the form. A wide range of responses is possible for each question, so you MUST understand what those ranges mean before you answer. • You will be presented with 25 specific "problem areas" against which you will assess your current business. Read the descriptions intently, and think carefully about your answers. The more honest you are with yourself, the more helpful the BBVA will be to you. • Once you begin the BBVA, you will need to finish it in the same sitting or you will need to restart from the begining at a later time. The system does NOT record your answers or process partially-completed assessments. • Before clicking the "Submit" button at the end of the BBVA, check to make sure that you have choosen a NUMERICAL response for every question on the form. Any unanswered questions will have a "?" displayed in the drop-down box. • Completing the BBVA should take approximately 30 minutes.
